Curiosities: Native to African areas with tropical climates, it manages to illuminate rooms by bouncing the light it receives.

CARE

Temperature: It does not tolerate temperature changes well and its growth is associated with a temperature between 16ºC and 22ºC, bearing in mind that the warmer it is, the more humidity it needs.

Light: It needs to be located in a place with good lighting, but never in direct sunlight.

Watering: It is necessary to keep the substrate somewhat damp, without letting the water stagnate, as it does not tolerate waterlogging. Water frequently in summer, and moderate watering in winter.

Fertilizer: Use specific fertilizers for green or flowering plants from spring to autumn.

Transplanting: In spring or early summer every two years or when its size exceeds that of the pot. A light, well-drained substrate is recommended.
