Dwarf Mini Fruiting Fig Tree - Ficus carica.

Description

The fig tree is a small tree that looks very much like a shrub, although it can reach up to ten metres in height. Its long, deeply lobed leaves make the fig stand out from the crowd. Varieties such as Ficus carica Brown Turkey thrive well in pots and, if you restrict its roots, you will prevent too many branches forming at the top at the expense of the fruit. Since it is a deciduous fruit tree, when the foliage falls off, usually in autumn/early spring, it will be served without leaves.

    * The indicated size is indicative. It is an approximate height calculated by averaging the height of several specimens. As living beings, each plant has its own shape and growth rate and, therefore, the measurement cannot be taken as exact.

    * Some plants that have flowers and/or fruits may not have them at the time of purchase. Since flowering, fruit production and even foliage production is seasonal, it may be the case that the time of purchase does not coincide with these flowering or fruiting periods, which does not imply that the plant has a defect or deficiency.
