What is Buckwheat?

Buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum) is a pseudocereal also called buckwheat. It originated in Central Asia.

Like other pseudocereals such as quinoa or amaranth, buckwheat contains a high quality protein as it contains all the essential amino acids and is not deficient in lysine or methionine.

How to use/recommended use

This way of consuming buckwheat grains is very crunchy, perfect for adding to yoghurts, salads or raw cake and biscuit batters. They are also perfect to include in sandwiches or to accompany cereal dishes and also to make unleavened bread.

Mode of conservation: 12 months. Store between 4°C and 16°C and maximum relative humidity of 70%.
