What is tricolour quinoa?

Tricolour quinoa is the combination of royal or white quinoa, red quinoa and black quinoa. We will talk about the characteristics of the latter. Black quinoa is a new species that was born as a hybrid of a cross between quinoa and spinach.

It is a superfood, containing high percentages of protein, minerals such as calcium, iron and magnesium. It is a food rich in vitamins, Omega 6 and fibre which help our immune and digestive system. It is ideal for a vegan, vegetarian or healthy diet.

How to use/recommended use

Boil 2 parts water to 1 part quinoa. Cooking time: 15 minutes over medium heat. May contain traces of nuts, soya and sesame and their derivatives.
